Doctor illegally sent prescription drugs from Ecuador to Easton and New Jersey, feds say

A doctor from Ecuador is accused of prescribing drugs illegally to customers in Easton, New York City and New Jersey.
Mauricio Sarmiento is charged with introducing misbranded drugs into interstate commerce, according to a criminal information filed Wednesday in federal court.
Sarmiento doesn’t have a listed phone number. Nor does he have an attorney listed in court records. He could not be reached for comment.
